We rent premium knee scooters to people with lower body injuries. We offer same day (IMMEDIATE) local knee scooter rentals which gives us a competitive advantage over Amazon and Walmart. 75% of people with lower leg injuries want a knee scooter the same day they look for one. We’re the only company in the USA that makes this possible 365 days a year. In addition, our knee scooter rentals are 50% less expensive compared to local medical supply rental companies. Our rental process is done online and customers receive a text message with directions and pickup instructions. When they pickup at one of our locations they text their scooter number to us and the rental is activated. Our entire rental process is automated which allows us to keep costs lower than other companies while still paying a dealers a passive income each month. We have over 500 5-star Google reviews and our average location has a 4.9 star rating

You will host a location and clean and maintain our knee scooters when it’s returned by a customer. Our typical knee scooter is rented for 5 weeks which means you’ll only be doing maintenace on each scooter about 10 times per year.
– You’ll set a scooter out to be picked up
– When an order is placed online the customer receives a text message with instructions
– They will drive to your home, pickup the scooter, text us their scooter#, load the scooter into their car, and drive away. Very rarely will they interact with you
– The customer will return the scooter when they are healed. They will drive to your home, return the scooter to your porch or carport, text us their scooter # and drive away
– You will then get a text from us saying which scooter # was returned. At this point you will clean and maintain it
– 80% of the time the scooter will need to be cleaned but will not require maintenance. This takes 5 minutes
– 20% of the time the scooter will require maintenance. This takes 15 minutes to 60 minutes
– On average, each scooter will require 10-12 minutes once every 5 weeks

You only need basic mechanical skills and simple tools like allen wrenches, a monkey wrench, pliers and some open end box wrenches. The maintenance is easy and we provide training videos as well. Knee scooter maintenance can be broken down as follows:
– clean, inspect and taking a picture of returned scooter (5 minutes)
– brakes: adjust cable and nut to fine tune the mechanical brakes using a box wrench (10 minutes)
– tubes: using a bike pump to air up all-terrain tubes (5 minutes)
– tubes: replacing all-terrain tubes using a bike tire lever (15 minutes)
– tires: replacing all-terrain tires using a bike tire lever (15 minutes)
– handlebars: tightening handlebars with allen wrenches (5 minutes)
– knee pads: replacing knee pads with allen wrenches (3 minutes)
– handlebar grips: glueing grips back on with superglue so they are not loose (3 minutes)
– scooter labels: replacing when they are worn (10 minutes)
– scooter baskets: repairing when they are damaged (5 minutes)

Location
Our business is based on having a large enough surrounding population to generate sufficient knee scooter rentals. In the 5 years we’ve been in business we’ve found that potential customers will not travel, so your location must be convenient for customers or they will not place an order with us and we will not be able to generate enough rentals to provide you with a sustainable monthly income from home

Property
We leave scooters out for customers to pickup at their convenience. Most often we lock up the scooters and give customers the lock code. Your property needs to be easily accessible and our customers need to feel safe coming to your home to pickup a scooter. We also need our scooters protected from weather and theft

Homeowner of single family residence
We want our hosts to be with us for 5-10 years and we invest a lot of time and money in marketing their location. For this reason we require them to be a homeowner. The reason for this is tenants (renters) may not be able to renew their lease for various reasons. We may accept you if you are a renter if you are able to get written permission from your landlord to rent knee scooters from the property for 5 years. We cannot accept apartments, mobile home communities or RVs due to security concerns of our knee scooters

Covered front porch or carport
Occasionally we will make an exception and accept a host who does not have a covered front porch or carport. We vastly prefer that our knee scooters are covered and out of the weather so that they stay in good condition long-term. If you are someone who is at home most of the time and can keep your knee scooters protected from weather, then we may accept you

Not in a gated community
Our customers need to have easy access to pickup and return their knee scooters without scheduling appointments or getting permission to enter through a gate. For this reason we need all locations to be easily accessible

In a city with population over 500,000
In general, smaller cities do not have enough demand to support a thriving knee scooter location. As a general rule we target cities over 500,000 for new locations but may accept a host living in a city over 250,000. Also, we need the host to reside within the metro area as customers are not willing to travel long distances. Our business is driven by population (Google search engine impressions, Google map pack impressions, doctor referrals, pay per click sources, etc), thus we require your location to be located within a large population in order for it to generate enough demand for you to rent enough scooters in order to make a consistent income

Good mechanical skills
If you are good with tools and are capable of changing bike tires (all terrain knee scooter tires) then you will likely be a good fit

Don’t travel more than 10% of the time
We need hosts who can maintain our knee scooters daily

Our knee scooters are 3ft long by 18 inches wide by 16 inches tall and weighs 21 to 28 pounds

You’ll rarely need to lift the scooters because they have wheels and are easily maneuverable

Our typical dealer has 10 to 15 scooters, with our largest dealers having over 40 scooters. The number of scooters you have depends on local demand for your city, your location within the city and whether it’s convenient for customers to drive to your location to pickup a scooter, as well as your preference for how many scooters you want to maintain and what your income goals are

Sometimes, but very rarely. When we first started the company interruptions were more common but we’ve been testing and refining our communication and processes for 3 years. We make our instructions VERY CLEAR and tell customers to not interrupt our hosts. Our entire rental process is automated and most customers are good with following instructions. Occasionally, a customer will need assistance but that is not the norm. Whenever this happens you’ll find our customers are delighted with our service and SO GRATEFUL they found us. They’re very friendly and thankful you’re helping them. Ask any of our hosts and they will tell you the same thing. Some of our hosts like to interact with customers so they choose to greet them at pickups/returns but this is not required

Your schedule is flexible. All we ask is that you clean, inspect and maintain a returned knee scooter before 8am the day after it has been returned by a customer so that it can be rented out again. This typically takes 12 minutes per scooter

Not necessarily. You will only perform maintenance when a knee scooter has been returned. There is nothing for you to do when you get a new rental order because you don’t meet with customers We notify you via text message so that you know a knee scooter has been returned so you can clean and maintain it as needed

Cleaning and inspecting takes 3-5 minutes. Maintenance can take 15-60 minutes depending on the situation. Maintenance will NOT need to be performed every time a knee scooter is returned because the knee scooters don’t require a lot of maintenance.  But, on average, each knee scooter takes about 10-12 minutes. We find that 80% of the time a scooter just needs to be cleaned and inspected, this takes 5 minutes. 20% of the time a scooter needs to be maintained (typically adjusting the brakes or airing up an all-terrain tire), this takes 5 minutes to 1 hour depending on the nature of the maintenance. 

We hope to have you with us long term (many years). We’re not interested in anyone looking for short term income. All of our dealers have been with us for YEARS. We’ve only ever lost 2 dealers and that was because they moved out-of-state to a new location that didn’t fit our business model

We pay you at the beginning of every month via electronic funds transfer (ETF) directly to your bank. We pay you $20-$25 per rented scooter

It costs you nothing. We’ll ship you scooters and we provide easy to understand training videos. We cover all costs and there are no hidden fees. Our dealer retention rate is very high because we created a work from home program that is automated, requires very little time on your part, and provides you with a long-term passive income. We know that once you’re making a consistent income each month, with little effort on your part, you’ll want to continue being a dealer for years to come

In about 2 weeks. Depending on your location it takes anywhere from 1-4 days for the knee scooters to arrive. Then it takes us another week to get you set up in our system. After that, you’ll be generating income right away.
