"This was the easiest, most efficient way to rent a scooter, and the discount price was perfect. The website for checking out and returning was easy as well. I would recommend this company if you want an efficient way of renting a Knee Scooter and good equipment."

Google Review · Fort Collins
"For the value alone this company is worth looking at. I used the all terrain scooter around Fort Collins and Horsetooth and it allowed a huge deal of independence to be maintained during my healing. Rental process was quick and easy, as was return."

Why a Scooter Beats Crutches in Fort Collins
Trusted by Fort Collins Hospitals & Orthopedic Surgeons
Crutches slow you down, strain your arms, and dramatically increase fall risk — especially on Fort Collins’ uneven bike paths, snowy sidewalks, and outdoor terrain near Horsetooth Reservoir. Our knee scooters let patients stay mobile, get back to work, and maintain independence while their foot or ankle heals.
At a fraction of what hospital rentals charge — with no deposit and no due date pressure — it’s the smarter, more comfortable choice for every Fort Collins patient.

Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about renting a knee scooter in Fort Collins
Q1. How soon can I pick up a knee scooter in Fort Collins?
Immediately after you complete your online order. Our Fort Collins location at 3454 Sam Houston Circle is open every day from 8am–8pm, 365 days a year — including weekends and holidays. Most customers are in and out in just a few minutes.
Q2. Do you require a deposit for knee scooter rentals?
No — we never charge a deposit. Unlike hospital rentals and national chains that require $100–$190 deposits, we only charge the weekly rental fee. No surprises, no holding your money.
Q3. How does the weekly rental work?
We charge per week — $19.75 for All-Terrain or $14.75 for Standard. Your rental auto-renews each week via your credit card on file. There are no due dates and no late fees. When you’re healed, simply return the scooter any day from 8am–8pm and we’ll stop billing automatically.
Q4. Which knee scooter is right for Fort Collins' terrain?
We strongly recommend the All-Terrain model for Fort Collins use. The city’s bike paths, uneven sidewalks, snowy winters, and outdoor areas near Horsetooth Reservoir are much better handled by the air-filled tires of the All-Terrain model. If you’re primarily indoors on smooth surfaces, the Standard model works great. Not sure? Call us at 208-408-1888.
Q5. Do Fort Collins hospitals and doctors recommend knee scooters?
Yes. Orthopedic surgeons and podiatrists at Banner Fort Collins Medical Center, UCHealth Poudre Valley Hospital, and UCHealth Medical Center of the Rockies regularly recommend knee scooters over crutches for non-weight-bearing recovery. They’re safer, more comfortable, and let patients remain far more independent during healing.
Q6. What areas of Northern Colorado do you serve from Fort Collins?
Our Fort Collins location is minutes from I-25, making it easily accessible from Loveland, Windsor, Greeley, Timnath, Wellington, Johnstown, Berthoud, and Longmont. We also have additional Colorado locations in Wheat Ridge/Denver, Denver DTC, Colorado Springs, and Monument.
Q7. Who needs a knee scooter?
Anyone recovering from foot or ankle surgery, fractures, bunionectomy, Achilles tendon repair, or any condition requiring non-weight-bearing recovery. If your doctor or surgeon has prescribed crutches or a fracture boot, a knee scooter is almost always a faster, safer, and more comfortable alternative — especially in active, outdoor Fort Collins.
