How soon can I pickup a knee scooter after I order online?
Immediately after you pay online we’ll send you a text message with pickup instructions. You can pick-up your knee scooter or send a friend anytime from 8am-8pm daily including weekends and holidays
Do you have knee scooters available, in stock, now?
Yes, most likely we do. Find our location page closest to you and you’ll be able to see exactly how many knee scooters we have in stock right now. Normally we have scooters in stock and available for pick-up 7 days a week. If the indicator says “unavailable” that means they are all rented at the moment. Unfortunately, we cannot predict when the next scooter will be available
What are your rental prices, how much do your knee scooters cost?
Standard models are just $14.75 per week, rented on a week to week basis, and will automatically renew each week until you return it. No due dates.
All-terrain models are just $19.75 per week, rented on a week to week basis, and will automatically renew each week until you return it. No due dates.
No deposit is needed for either model of knee scooter. All of our rentals are week to week, keep as long as you need it

Do I have to order online before I can try a knee scooter?
Yes but rentals are done 1 week at a time so it’s not a long-term commitment. If you don’t like a particular model (standard or all-terrain) you can always return it and rent the other model (subject to availability). All of our scooters are premium (high quality) models and they’re super comfortable and fit riders from 4ft9in (Standard) or 5ft0in (All-terrain) and up to 6ft6in (Standard and All-terrain). Do you charge a deposit?
No, we never have. The price listed on our website is the price you’ll pay. No deposit is required.
Can I pay for multiple weeks upfront to get a discount?
No. Our pries are hard coded into our rental system. We rent knee scooters week to week. Our rates are the most competitive and actually the lowest rates in the USA. We cannot discount them further.
Do you take insurance?
No. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express only. However, at the end of your rental you will receive an emailed receipt with HCPCS codes that you can give to your insurance provider to get reimbursed for your knee scooter rental.
Can I rent for longer than 1 week?
Yes. Our knee scooters are rented one week at a time and do NOT have due dates. Our system will charge your credit/debit card on file once a week until you return your scooter. No deposit needed!
I’m currently renting a knee scooter from you and need it for longer. How do I extend my rental?
You don’t need to do anything. Starting on day 7 (1 week after your pickup date) your knee scooter will begin auto-renewing every week via your credit card on file. We make it simple for you so you can focus on healing. When your all healed up just return the scooter any day from 8am-8pm 365 days a year and we will stop charging your card each week
Do you accept cash, Paypal, Venmo?
No. We accept major credit cards only (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover)
Can I reserve a scooter for a future date?
Yes. Choose your nearest location on our website, then choose the knee scooter model, pick up date, and pay online and it’ll be reserved for you for whatever date you’d like
Why are the all-terrain knee scooters more expensive than the standard knee scooters?
All-terrain models are harder to find and much more expensive to buy. Also, since they have air-filled tires they require more maintenance for us to keep in excellent condition
Do your knee scooters fit a small child or large adult?
It depends. Please visit www.kneescooterusa.com/scooters for full specifications of our knee scooters. In summary, here’s who our knee scooters will fit:
Standard models: 4ft 9in – 6ft 6in, maximum of 350 lbs
All-terrain models: 5ft 0in – 6ft 6in, maximum of 350 lbs
If you need something smaller or larger we recommend you call a local medical supply company to see if they have anything in stock that will work
What are the sizes, dimensions, weights of your knee scooters?
Standard models: weight 18 lbs, width 16 inches wheel to wheel, length 31 inches wheel to wheel, knee pad height is 16 inches high off the floor
All-terrain models: weight 28 lbs, width 18 inches wheel to wheel, length 36 inches wheel to wheel, knee pad height is 19 inches high off the floor
Do your knee scooters come with baskets?
Yes, our knee scooters come with large, removable baskets
Are your knee scooter knee pads comfortable?
Yes, they are very comfortable. The knee pad cushions are 2.75 inches to 3 inches thick and are filled with foam. Our customers love the comfort of our knee scooters. The knee pads are covered in vinyl and are flat on top for a comfortable ride
Are the knee scooter knee pads and handebars adjustable?
Yes. Both the knee pad height and handlebar height is fully adjustable to suit your comfort need.
Do your knee scooters fold down?
Yes they do. The basket is also removable. Many people fold the scooters down to travel or put in the trunk of their car
Do your knee scooters have brakes?
Yes. Actuallly, our knee scooters are unique in that they come with two brakes, one on each side. Most other knee scooters only come with one brake. Also, our brakes are lockable which means you can lock it in place like a parking brake
Are your knee scooters in good condition, clean and sterilized?
Yes. Our local scooter hosts clean, sterilize and maintain our knee scooters after each rental. They follow a 12 point inspection checklist to ensure each knee scooter is in great condition before we rent it out to our valued customers

How do I fold the knee scooter?
1. lift the lever at the bottom of the handlebar
2. pull the lever out and down to release the locking mechanism
3. push the lever to the side to release the locking pin

I need to report that my all-terrain scooter has a flat tire
Okay. If you purchased damage protection you can exchange the scooter for another all-terrain as long as we have one available, at no charge.
If you did not purchase damage protection you can take the scooter to a local bike shop and they can typically repair the tube for $10-$15. Alternatively, you can buy a new tube on Amazon for under $10. Full instructions are at kneescooterusa.com/help
