This is our host’s residence, please do not disturb them. Most of our hosts work full-time jobs and maintain scooters in the evenings

We don’t preassign scooter numbers. You’ll choose a scooter when you are on-site. If you reserved and paid for a Standard scooter, only take a Standard scooter. If you take the wrong model you may end up taking someone else’s reserved scooter!
Scooters will be locked up. Please RELOCK the scooters

Due to Covid we ask that everyone WIPES DOWN their scooter before returning it as an added safety precaution in case someone else grabs it before we get a chance to sterilize it. Thank you!

Rental Summary
Our automated rental process is the reason we’re able to offer discounted scooter rentals, 365 days, 12 hours a day. You’ll be picking up from our local dealer’s residence which allows us to cut costs on rent and employee labor, thus passing the savings on to you. We ask that you follow instructions so we’re able to manage our large fleet of scooters without complications
Pickups – Please text your scooter # by 8pm on your reservation date to avoid a one-time fee of $10
Returns – Please text your scooter # when you return your scooter to avoid a one-time fee of $10. Return scooter to your original pickup location to avoid a transfer fee of $50
Renewals – Your initial payment covers 7 days. On day 7 at 8pm our system will automatically beginning renewing your scooter 1 week at a time.
Due date – Your scooter does NOT have a due date. Keep it as long as you need.

Our Story
Knee Scooter USA was started in 2019 in Monument, CO (originally as Knee Scooters for College), after our founder, Rob, broke his ankle while mountain unicycling.
Rob was frustrated for several weeks when trying to find a knee scooter. All of the local medical supply companies that rented knee scooters were charging $100/mo plus a $100 deposit. They were closed on weekends and most closed at 5pm on weekdays. None of these companies offered online rentals, everything had to be done in the store. He didn’t want to drive around to stores without first seeing pictures of the actual knee scooters. So he looked into buying a knee scooter on Amazon. The quality, comfortable knee scooters were being sold for 100’s of dollars and wouldn’t arrive for 4-7 days. He didn’t want to spend that kind of money for something he’d only need to use for 4-5 weeks. The cheap $90 scooters on Amazon were very low quality and uncomfortable so that wasn’t an option either.
Being convinced there had to be a better way to get a comfortable, durable knee scooter quickly without spending 100s of dollars he set out on a mission to fix it for others. Later, when doing more research, he discovered this was a national problem. Anyone looking to get a quality knee scooter, same day, was going to run into this problem regardless of where they lived.
With software and SMS we’ve automated the rental process. We work with local scooter hosts, who work from home and maintain our fleet of knee scooters, mostly in the evenings after work. This provides them with a passive income to fund their childrens’ college, supplement retirement or to provide additional income for travel or home repairs. We offer online rentals and convenient, local pickup/return points to get a premium knee scooter quickly at an affordable price.
We’ve researched and tested every knee scooter on the market and only rent the most comfortable and reliable models that fit the widest varieties of rider heights and weights. Our typical renter needs a knee scooter for 4 or 5 weeks and wants one that will be comfortable, reliable and available on a moment’s notice. A knee scooter will allow you much more freedom to move around as you recover from your injury. We make the pickup/return process easy and our rental rates are affordable which means that’s one less thing for you to worry about during a difficult time. Having been injured myself, I completely understand what you’re going through right now and I hope you’re happy with our service.
